On the 16th of May 2018 Our TIme held a fundraiser at Graffik Gallery, which raised some much-needed funds for the charity. The event would not have happened without the efforts of staff, volunteers and friends. Particular thanks goes to Naomi Bacon for her liaison with Graffik Gallery, who kindly hosted the event free of charge, and for enlisting the help of chef Rob Neale, and a mixologist, who donated the food, as well as their labour, to the event.
The highlight of the evening was an auction, for which Our Time’s trustees and staff sourced many great items, including holidays in Cornwall, Venice and Cannes. We were lucky to have Christies send us Louise Simmons to lead the auction, free of charge.
Another highlight was the contributions of our young people who brought the work of the charity to life with their own experiences of living with a parent with a mental illness. They are a living testimony to the benefits our work brings to young people who live in families where there is mental illness.
We want to thank everyone who made the evening such a success.
