What will your scrapbook contain?
Most people tend to collect images they like online through the likes of Instagram, but creating your own physical scrapbook remains an enjoyable activity that can be done with no social pressure and for your own enjoyment.
All you need to get started is an empty book of your choice, scissors and glue, or sticky tape. Where you get your pictures from is up to you but you could start by looking through magazines, your own photos, old picture books you don’t mind cutting up or printed images off the internet. You could even use some fabrics or fancy patterned paper!
Try collecting together images that make you feel happy, relaxed or otherwise conjure up good memories. You don’t have to fill it out all at once, just maybe add a few extra images a day. You’ll likely find that this process becomes addictive and satisfying!
Once complete, the book could make for a nice go-to when you want to sit down and make yourself feel better. You could show it to your family or collaborate with them on it in the first place.
You could even hide it away as a kind of time capsule to be discovered a few years from now, letting you rediscover your thoughts, feelings and likes from this time, in the future.
